meep!
Okay, so big news in chronological order:
July 14th:I ate a burger
July 15th: I got terribly sick and vomity. so sick and vomity that my mom made me go to the hospital and get an iv. it turns out that the place i ate the afformentioned burger got closed for ecoli (excuse spelling). I went to the hospital at like 5, got servace at 7 and was there for a few hours. they gave me an iv and i fell asleep. i woke up at like 10 30. As soon as i realized the time i was like "Mom, i have to get out of here fast" (as the 6th HP book was coming out at 12) i was released in time to get the book at our local QFC at midnight. This all hapened on the kitten's 1st birthday. happy birthday kittens!
July 16th: i got the book, i read the book, i fell asleep after reading for 4 hours, i woke up and was done by noon. Some times you get a stomach ache if you eat too fast. When you read too fast you get a brain ache. Anyways, most of my predictions were true, and my dad owes me five bucks because of who dies.
July17th: i wake up and get to church for the meeting about the youth group, and had some fun with my friends in the meantime. all the people on our church prayer chain asked me how i was feeling ( i don't like that kind of sympathy at all, i got it last year with mono). we talked about youth stuff and i was allowed to eat solid food
(i coulden't the day before). Hey, guess who dislikes Kyle Stone as much as i do? DJ and i discussed our mutual distast in the peehaired annoyance (they know eachother from KR football).
Sometime later that week i was told that my bloodwork looked diabetic. so i had to do this test. You have your blood drawn (something i do NOT like) and then drink this discusting stuff. Try imagining orange soda that is not carbonated, and then pour tons of corn syrup in it, and thats what it tastes like
. So it was 2 more hours untill they could draw my blood and finish the test. I bought shoes. they are flat bottemed and black and blue and have the cutest little skulls on them (did i just say "cutest"?). So my blood was drawn and the next day the results came in. I didn't really know whether or not to tell ya'll, mainly because my grandma responded in a way that weirded me out, but i found out i'm pre-diabetic. I think at the time my grandma's wanting to talk to me about it (she told mom that) was the hardest part. Thats why our trip was called off, because between me and my dad whe need to learn to eat all over again. Well thats what mom says, but i still feel used, i'm their excuse.
So during the last couple of days i've been trying sugar free candy (the hersheys brand stuff is actualy good) and ice cream, baskin robbins has thin mint.
During the next few days all we did was get a fancy new stove
Also on sunday our church had the coolest guest speaker, this guy from africa university, who was talking about their music and stuff. My dad is actualy interested in teaching there for a little while.
Excited! Even if we cant i want to do a year of collage there.
From church we went to renton river days, where i got free junk and bought lunch. I went shopping after that (the "arts in the park section" and the store across the street) I got 4 pairs of earings a necklace, a ring, 2 tops and a pair of pants, for about 30 bucks. My dad performed in the renton band, and then they releaced the rubber ducks. If you don't get it i'll explain later. Any way, these ducks are making there was down the river and i ran across the high way with a bunch of other people to follow them and see them reach the finish line. Only once i was on the other side did it occur to me what a strange little town we live in. Then we headed home.
There you go, if you've actualy read all this than you must be bored with it by now so i'll leave here.
Love ya'll
-Emily
