Just had the Veteran’s Day assembly.  Powerful stuff.  Most of the room stood up when asked if they had any relatives who were ever in the military.  It was whittled down a lot by the time they asked if they are currently serving.  DJ and Jess are planning on entering the military at some point.  I really admire that, extra plaudits to them.  I really miss Jesse from church; I wonder how he’s doing.  I ought to email him.  I wonder if I’ll worry about my friends when they go.  I just… it’s hard to think that Jesse may never come back and sing in the choir, or that I may never see those friends after graduation.

We’re going to the National cemetery for the service tomorrow, like always.  I have to remember to buy flowers, Don is buried there.

On a side note, I got the job I applied for, I'm really glad!!!
